A place by water that I have been to was the Lei Feng Pagoda. The Lei Feng Pagoda is a very famous attraction in China. It was built during the Song Dynasty as a Buddhist pagoda. It was a place of worship for monks and it’s considered a holy place. It’s located on a hill next to the west lake in Hang Zhou and it’s a symbolic building in West lake. From the Lei Feng Pagoda, you can see the beautiful lake view. The Lei Feng Pagoda is very tall, it’s 70 meters high and it’s a Song style building. There’s also a very famous love story about the Pagoda. It’s a love story between Bai and Xu. Even though the love story is fictional, it has added another highlight to the place. I remember visiting the LeiFeng Pagoda, I went there during dusk so I had a beautiful view of the sun setting over the lake and I could also see the city lights starting to light up. It was such a wonderful sight. When your standing on the pagoda, you can feel the cool breeze and the fresh air as well as the light smell of incense. It was so awesome.
