综合写作：
讨论关于P(翼龙)能不能飞
Point1：阅读说P是冷血动物不能产生足够的能量飞起来。听力说P有densecovering hair,就像鸟类的fur，能够维持身体热量产生能量。
Point2：阅读说P像长颈鹿那么大，还重，没法飞起来。听力说P的体重在同样大小的动物中算是轻的，而且骨头是中空的。所以能够飞起来。
Point3：阅读说从化石来判断P的后腿力量很小，没法像鸟类那样快速的奔跑或者跳的很高，进而没法飞起来。听力说P是用四肢跑步或者起跳，所以能飞翔。

Reading:
1 Ancient writing, 说的应该是苏美尔人把文字写在clay上。clay适合书写，而且baked后能保存很久。相比之下埃及人用一种易腐化的材料书写，就很难保存了。所以苏美尔人留下的文字记录对历史学家更有意义。
苏美尔人的文字一直流传了下来，后来入侵他们的民族保留了他们的文字，并根据他们自己的语言，赋予其new values and sounds。这同罗马衰落后拉丁文得以流传的情况一样。
2 说的是肥料，先是讲动物肥很好，后来由于现代农业的生产方式改变，动物肥不适用了。然后介绍了一系列可以加强土地肥力的措施，其中有轮作制度，蘑菇真菌肥等等，最后两段介绍了commercial inorganic fertilizers的利弊。利是大大提升了粮食产量，弊是会造成污染等等。
3 玛雅文明灭亡的原因。有自然环境和人类活动两方面的原因，尚在讨论中。为了满足大量人口的需求，玛雅人采取密集农业，确定解决了粮食问题，但同时也使生态恶化。自然因素有旱灾，人为因素则是为了与其他文明竞争而大兴土木、战争等等。最后说要不是因为这些人为因素，就算旱灾也不至于让玛雅文明遭受毁灭性的打击。

Task1：记不得了，原谅我
Task2：Some teachers send e-mails to communicate with students, others talk to students personally before or after class. Which one is better?
Task3：学校图书馆将把本科生允许一次外借图书的量由30本减到10本。男学生赞同，他觉得一次借30本太不公平了，有一次他为了完成历史课的essay去图书馆借书，同班30多个同学都去了，每个人都借了一堆与课题有关的书，所以在同一时间无法给第二个人看同一本书。男生还说其实学生把有用的pages or chapters复印下来就可以了，copy machine is offered in the library.
Take4：adaptive reuse：add a new purpose on an old unused building of historical value.老师举了自己的例子。他在construction company的时候，曾经design a concert hall in a old building which used to be a chocolate factory. They clean up the exterior and found it has beautiful decorations on huge windows, so it would be attractive as a concert hall. Then the interior features are also suitable for concert hall. It has a high ceiling that could lead to good sound effects, and there are plenty of room for seats and a performing stage. Audience could appreciate beautiful views of the city through huge windows as well.
Task5：女生周末和朋友去downtown玩，吃完午饭回来发现got a $50 parking ticket. 她并不知道那里不能停车，因为没有看到任何sign. Solutions: challenge the parking ticket. But it takes her a lot of time driving to downtown and she's busy with assignments. 第二个solution是pay the ticket，貌似是说她有个朋友可以帮她付，没听清。
Task6：2 adaptations of wading birds with the example of storks. 说很多鸟类喜欢在mud中找食，wading birds为此develop 2 adaptations:special beak which could distinguish food by touching. Storks have special long beaks，里面有sensors可以帮它们识别吃的东西比如鱼。第二个adaptation是special feet preventing sinking down into mud. 说storks的toes很特别。
Listening：
