North Carolina Central University
北卡罗莱纳中央大学建于1910年，是美国第一所专门为非裔美国人设立的公立文科院校。在近100年的历史中，北卡罗莱纳中央大学一直致力于在学术和专业方面，为学生做好成为领袖的准备。
学校是一所综合性大学，提供100多个学术领域的本科学位和将近40多个学科的硕士学位和可选择性博士学位。北卡罗莱纳中央大学有国家最先进的生物技术研究所，该所与药品和生物技术公司在炙手可热的三角公园区域研究中心进行合作，这也是北卡罗来纳中央大学建立的地方。这所历史悠久的黑人学校也有多种多样的项目，其中国际研究和交流活动吸引着超过12个国家的交换生，而有些专业吸引着包括国土安全研究和劳动力发展、生物、护理、教育、法律、商业、酒店和旅游等方面的学生。
