西北印第安学院
Northwest Indian College
西北印第安学院是华盛顿州唯一一所正规的部落学院。学院的历史可追溯到成立于1973年的Lummi印第安水产养殖学校。
该校创立的目的很简单，就是为全美和加拿大的印第安人经营运作的鱼类和甲壳类动物的孵化场培养输送技术人员。1983年学校经特许更名为Lummi社区学院，成为一所两年制综合性印第安学院，旨在为西北太平洋地区的印第安人提供中学后的教育。1989年1月20日，Lummi社区学院再次更名并确定为为西北印第安学院。西北印第安学院开设有学士学位课程、准学士学位课程和证书课程，开设的主要专业有：原著名领导力研究、环境科学、部落治理与工商管理、公共管理与部落管理等等。
