In this world there are a multitude of different types of relationships parents choose to have with their kids. Some parents choose to be the servants of their children, willing to do anything for them. Others would rather dominate their children, meaning that they would try their best for their children to comply with them. However the good parent I’m going to talk about is my uncle who chose to be his child’s friend.
He has an extremely good relationship with my cousin, his son. They are able to interact freely and even share secrets. You know, communication is quite important for family members to maintain a good relationship. He always encourages his son to make breakthroughs and never fear failure. Under his influence, my cousin has become a very positive young man.
The reason I think my uncle is a good parent is not that he takes good care of his son in daily life but he appreciates his son as an independent individual. There are so many parents in this world who believe their children belong to them and they require their children to do what they like. It is frustrating for these young people to be constrained by their parents. I wish more parents would be like my uncle and have a healthier relationship with their children.
