格拉斯哥大学现有四大学院（前九大学院收缩为四大学院：文学院、医学院、工学院
航天、土木工程、电子与电器、机械与造船）、社会科学学院（法、商及社会学院）），一
百六十八个科目，九十八个学术研究中心。格拉斯哥大学开设多种本科课程以及研究生课
程，每个系均开设博士课程。涵盖了管理、金融、艺术、生物化学、教育、心理学、工程、
法律、医药、物理、社会科学、兽医学等。格拉斯哥大学拥有许多英国首创科目，建立了英
国第一个土木工程系和造船系，其他如航空工程、海事海洋工程、计算机软件工程都堪称一
流。该校医学院是英国大学里第一个将重点由临床培训转向病人照顾的医学院。除了工程和
