罗汉普顿大学

罗汉普顿大学（University of Roehampton）的历史源自19世纪所建立的4所知名学校：白陆学院、南陆学院、、福禄贝尔学院。此四所学校于1975年合并、并于2004年正式获得大学头衔，进而成为现今的罗汉普顿大学，并致力于提供高质量的教育福利予英国中/下阶层的居民。
 
白陆学院（Whitelands College）：成立于1841年，为专职的教师培训女子学校，隶属英国国教教会。为英国最古老的教师培训学校之一，亦是英国第一所接受女子入学的高等教育机构。
 
南陆学院（Southlands College）：成立于1872年，严守着宗教教义的教育机构，时常协助小区兴建、以及教会举办的公益活动。商学科系、传媒科系、文化与语言科系、以及少数音乐教育设备均位于此学院区。
 
Stuart College）：成立于1874年，为女子教师培训机构，隶属天主教会、并由知名的圣心协会（Society of the Sacred Heart）协助管理。
 
福禄贝尔学院（Froebel College）：成立于1892年，由德国知名教育学家弗里德里希‧福禄贝尔（Friedrich Fröbel）所建立，为英国主要教师培训学校之一。教育科系、舞蹈科系、艺术相关设备、舞蹈图书馆均位于此学院区。
 
罗汉普顿大学自创校起便于教育研究、儿童领域方面保持着卓越的学术成绩，并秉持着优秀的教学传统。大学总体的研究成果，约78%均已达国际标准。于2008年的科研评鉴，大学中的舞蹈科系、生物人类学科系的研究成果已位列世界顶尖之行列，进而为学校获得“现代大学中最具研究能力的学校之一”的美名。

罗汉普顿大学的主图书馆，藏书逾35万，拥有丰富的电子书、电子期刊、学术信息供学生浏览，其中以犹太信息中心（Jewish Resource Centre Collection）的收藏最为知名、其次为英国知名作家瑞琪蒙‧克姆顿‧浪伯尔尼（Richmal Crompton Lamburn）的收藏。图书馆内同时设有现代设计的阅览中心、个人阅览室、以及计算机信息中心。
 
校区内同时设置学生商店、专属医疗中心、生医实验室、运动中心、各式球场、学生餐厅、咖啡厅、学生会。其后者经常公告学生兼差、打工等相关信息、并有专人提供生涯/职涯规划，十分受学生们的喜爱。
 
住宿相关
 
罗汉普顿大学提供各式住宿选择，无论学生想选择学校宿舍、私人住宿机构、自行于当地租屋等，学校均可提供相关讯与协助。国际学生仅需于申请截止日前提出申请，学校即可保证第一年的入住权利。学校宿舍均为单人雅/套房、共享厨房设备，其住宿费用包含水电、瓦斯、网络、个人物品保险费。

南陆学院：共设有3栋宿舍区，提供281间房，主要提供给大学新生
- Aldersgate Court、Epworth Court、Wesley Hall
 
：共设有4栋宿舍区，提供452间房，主要提供给大学新生
- Bede House、Lee House、Newman House、Shaw House
 
福禄贝尔学院：共设有9栋宿舍区，提供466间房，主要提供给大学生、硕士生
- Chadwick Hall、Aspen House、Garden Court、Lawrence、Linden House、Mount Clare、New Court、Old Court、Willow House
 
若学生希望入住于繁华的伦敦市中心，学校亦提供市中心住宿 - Central London - Spring Mews，此宿舍有着便捷的交通，乘车仅需15分钟即可抵达校区。
